The peach cobbler had no crust or seasoning. It was like they opened a can of peaches and threw them in the container. The biscuits were hard as hockey pucks. The fried chicken was very good thank goodness!
Fried chicken and fried okra were ok. The mashed potatoes and gravy had no flavor as did the the pinto beans. The peach cobbler did not have a crust. It was like they opened a can of peaches and threw them jn a bowl. The buttermilk bisquits were like hockey pucks!!!
The biscuits were in a bag and were smashed. The grits were terrible, I thru them away.
The gravy was terrible, the meatloaf and Country Fried Steak were ok. Potatoes and Turnip greens were AWFUL. Okra and Macaroni & Cheese were ok. Biscuits and Cornbread were Fair.
Stone cold and it only came 3 blocks would not even melt whipped butter. bake pot. hard as brick. steak was gummy for some reason and over cooked!thought it was wrapped in bacon at first. but no just a strange stringy fat. weird taste.
That was one of the worst meals we ever had from the Cracker Barrel. The chicken was fair. The steak an mashed potatoes were atrocious. Everything was cold. An the collard greens were inedible. The dog wouldnt even eat them.
Usually they have good food but both our Chicken Fried Chicken dinners tasted burned, along with the steak fries and even the Smoked Sausage Patties all were burned. $40 for bad food and still hungry.
The meatloaf was legitimately raw, as was the broccoli. Almost no flavor to the broccoli, and the meatloaf was literally a paste in a loaf. The loaded baked potato was the only good thing.
Country ham was a shriveled up piece of shoe. Horrible
