The portions of the takeaway is ridiculous. I know when I go in to the restaurant the portions are not this small. It's enough for me but not what I pay for!
Old Timer's Breakfast so good
The food is very tasty, have been eating at Cracker Barrel's since 1994, never have had bad food. Portions are usually big.
Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast and the Biscuits & Gravy with Sausage was cooked perfectly. And the Wild Berry Tea was lightly, and perfectely, sweetened.
The Old Timer's sooooo good
I my over medium eggs were overcooked. Momma's French Toast Breakfast® Other than that the food was goo.
I ordered the New York Strip Steak dinner which comes in at 10 oz and includes your choice of two sides (I requested steak fries and macaroni and cheese). I specifically requested my New York Strip Steak be well done! The outside definitely was, but when I cut into it, it was all bright pink raw meat! It was early and everything was really delicious! All six people loved their meals. Really fresh and hot. And they got every single thing correct!
By far, it is one of the most amazing Campfire Chickens I have ever had. Extremely tender, great portion size, and it tastes very fresh! Great job, Cracker Barrel, I hope these don't go away anytime soon.
