one of the best in this chain We eat at Cracker Barrels quite often as the food quality is consistent across the whole chain and they use good ingredients and as condiments like real butter, real maple syrup, great crackers, etc. This particular restaurant, however, was REALLY impressive in that everyone was noticeably friendly and efficient. Good family place The food is plentiful and heavy. It is a great place to go with hungry young people. They are usually open during holidays. The service is fast and cheerful. This is not gourmet food, but you know what you're going to get, especially when you're on the road.

What a great staff! Really good food I had mac n cheese, catfish fried, hash brown casserole and slaw. Very good stuff. The staff creates a really upbeat atmosphere and the excitement of the retail store adds to that in my opinion.

The human factor If you're going to close at a certain hour, be prepared for customers until that time. I got here about an hour before closing and ordered some fairly standard stuff from the menu.
