Always consistently great I really don't know how they do it but you always expect quality and you are never disappointed. This is good down home cooking and just like grandma made and the surroundings are always clean and comfortably warm.
bad roast beef Stayed next door on a Tuesday night and decided to go here for dinner, the backed chicken was great and pleantyful, however the roast beef dinner was awe-full. it tasted old and burnt, but the rest of my meal was ok. i talked to the manager about the meal and she was more then willing to get me another dish....
Nice place with great food & service We ate here twice on a recent trip. The food is good and it's cheap! Our server was wonderful and really made us feel at home. The ambience is geared towards families and they can handle large groups. We would dine here again.

Country Cooking plus store Cracker Barrel is a great chain if you like country home cooking. It's not healthy by any means, but if you like comfort food, it is a good place to go for fried chicken, pork chops, etc. The place also has a country store which has some fun stuff too!
As Good As It Gets The go to place for a great hot breakfast. Down home atmosphere with super friendly and fast service. Had the Uncle Herschel's breakfast along with a pancake with that awesome maple syrup. I give em 4 out of 5 stars. Check em out!
GREAT As I'm writing this, this location of Cracker BARRELL is #12 of 219 restaurant in Springfield. For a national chain restaurant to rank that highly in a city seemingly overrun with wonderful local flavor speaks volumes. It's Cracker Barrell like you know and love, and this is a VERY good one.
