Top Notch and Very Helpful We always enjoy Cracker Barrel while traveling. The newer lighter fare menu is great. The catfish was very nice. We accidentally left my wife's purse behind and were relieved when we called that they had not only found it but our it in their safe. When I returned several hours later the manager brought it out himself and was so...
Still Pretty Good This was our pit stop to get a bite while traveling I65. The restaurant was easy to find and the food was quite nice. Our waitress was pretty good too. I recommend this place.
Came here to eat brunch with my family of 20 and the restaurant not only accommodated us, but also provided excellent service! The food was fresh and service was speedy. Everything tasted amazing....
Excellent food and service but smoking area needs to move to parking lot or disappear completely.
Grandparents brought in 3 hungry, tired kids The very busy staff came to our table immediately, took our drink order but also a quick side order of fruit and veggies for the kids to munch on while waiting. All came within 3 or 4 minutes of sitting down. That's service!
Same old, same old Sorry. Been to too many Cracker Barrels to see any differences in them. They are predictable (good -- or -- bad). If I have no other choices in certain parts of the US, I will grudgingly agree to go there, but they are never a first choice for me. And please, at the end of a very, very long day,...
Much Better Than the Place Across the Street We visited this restaurant the night following a disappointing experience at the restaurant across the street. (See my review of Stan's). Wow, Cracker Barrel was a LOT better! The service was attentive, the restaurant clean, and the food was good. In fact, surprisingly good. So much so, that we ate there again for breakfast the next morning and it was...
Order from Children's menu if not too hungry Order from the children's menu if you're not too hungry or are fine with grilled cheese, chicken strips, hamburger, etc. Plates come with item and a side (salad, soup, fries, etc) and a drink like hot chocolate or milk. All for under $5 and there's no age limit. Perfect for seniors or if you just don't want a heavy meal.
Not The Best While Cracker Barrels are never "bad", this one was lacking a bit. Chicken tenders were fine, as were carrots, but steak fries were just warm. Our server was friendly, but we had to track her down to replace the ordered "unsweet" read, which arrived very sweet. This was a very slow time with numerous empty tables. Of course this won't...
