Cracker Barrels are all alike. You can expect good hot food, friendly service and resonable prices. Julie K, our server is brand new to Cracker Barrel. Super friendly, helpful person. Our food was slow to leave the kitchen today. I think the kitchen was backed up due to the large number of diners today. All in all, it was a good experience. I have always had good food at this Cracker Barrel, but tonight was the worst night ever the meat was burnt. The potatoes were dry. The macaroni and cheese had no taste and little cheese. The gravy was tasting old. The meatloaf was not all the way done. I am calling management tomorrow. This was unsatisfying. We were hungry so we had to eat this food as much as we could and cook it as much as we could again on the stove.
We were seated rather quickly even though it was pretty busy. Our waitress was attentive and our food was fresh and hot. It was delivered in a timely manner. The biscuits were hearty and fluffy. I had some stuffed tater tots and they were AMAZING! So good I got a 2nd order. I'm also a pancake freak and their pancakes definitely satisfied. Looking forward to my next visit. Oh and they have multiple flavored mimosas 🤗. At our table we also had fish and fries, fried pickles and a scrambled egg bowl.
If I could give 0 stars I would!! The manager, Ryan has no business in his role. The food literally took an hour & 45 minutes to come out & it was burnt. Ryan never came to introduce himself, apologize, or offer anything in exchange for our patience throughout this terrible experience. The lack of concern & care from him was mind-blowing. Previously had a poor experience here dining in so I decided to try take out and it was unfortunately a worse experience. Parking lot was pretty crammed including someone who parked in curbside pick-up yet dined inside. Got there 5 minutes before ready time in hopes of getting everything hot and fresh and tasty, this unfortunately was not the case.
