The Atmosphere was the only thing that got 5 stars, and that's because we were with one of our children and her family spending time with our grandkids! The waitress was terrible, she completely messed up 3 of the 6 orders that we placed. Then when I did eventually get what I ordered one of the sides were wrong. When I got the bill she had charged me for an extra side. That wasn't my mistake. This was my first trip to this location. I placed my order online for Thanksgiving Day plates, and shortly after picked them up. As always, Cracker Barrel came through. Food was delicious and the store was nicely put together. My order was correct, and everything was in the bag. Staff were friendly.
Two of us stopped in to Cracker Barrel today for lunch and we were seated quickly. We waited and no server came to our table. Several servers walked by, but no one ever acknowledged our presence. We continued to wait and 11 minutes after being seated, still no server acknowledged us or came to our table. So, we got up and left! We mentioned it to an employee at the checkout registers, and she just gave us the "deer in the headlights" look. Our server was very friendly and courteous when we arrived. When she brought our food, she said she would bring the biscuits and gravy when they had some ready. About half way through our meal, we still did not have them so we inquired. She said she would check on them. Other tables around us were getting baskets of biscuits with bowls of gravy. We waited almost 15 minutes after we were seated before we saw a waitress. There was only one other couple sitting on our side of the room at this time. We ordered and she brought our drinks. Almost thirty minutes went by and other tables that had been seated after we had ordered were receiving their food and we were still waiting. The waitress came out and said I'm sorry about the delay, but your order got put behind a catering order.
