Homecooked Meal I cannot make a homecooked meal like what they have here. It's all drenched in butter and then deepfried to deliciousness. I particularly like going to Cracker Barrel when the weather gets cold. The service is fast and friendly. They are exactly the kind of place they advertise to be. Fun store and good food! I love going to Craker Barrell, not just for the food, but I just love to browse in the little store! There are so many unique things in there. The games I played when I was a kid. Quality clothes, interesting decorative items and lots of gift ideas. They sell candies that were around when my dad was a kid. When the craving for deep-fried food hits.... Cracker Barrel is a good place to go to if you want a home-cooked meal but are too tired to cook it yourself. Their macaroni and cheese is amazing, and their chocolate cake is probably the best I've ever had. The only problem with this place is the same as with many "home cooking" kinds of restaurants. Their menu consists of foods like meat loaf, mashed potatoes, macaroni, chicken fried steak, etc. The prices are fair and you will definitely get enough food for your money.
