I'd love the Chicken n' Dumplins if there was a little more chicken . The flavor is great but just too many dumplings and not enough chicken!!! It should be called Dumplings and chicken. I've been eating at Cracker Barrel for many years and I use to get at least 3 chicken strips with the dumplings. Now I'm lucky to get a couple of bites of chicken
There was no tartar sauce and mashed potatoes were hard paste.
This was the best cooked Cracker Barrell food that I've had in a very long time. The Country Fried Steak was excellent, perfect crust and cooked exactly to the perfect doneness. The mashed potatoes and gravy were light and fluffy. The mac&cheese was rich and creamy. The turnip greens were great(don't forget to finish off the pot liquor at the end!) and the Peach Cobbler excellent. I highly recommend this store and my compliments to the entire kitchen staff!
Food is ALWAYS good here but not today. Pintos werenvery over cooked, Mac n cheese was runny. Not typical Cracker Barrel!
This is the first time I've tasted Lemon Pepper Trout..it was truly delicious.. will definitely reorder again...
Wednesday special is excellent
Wasn't Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast I mean everything was perfect . The chicken was good just was fried chicken breast instead of drums or wings. I guess my expections were high . The biscuits and gravy is disgusting. Everything else was decent .
I ordered broccoli casserole and was very disappointed. It was very dry and had very little cheese in it and was slightly burned.
Everything always delicious! Our favorites are the roast beef dinner and the grilled trout dinner! Great to be able to choose from a variety of vegetables! 😋
