Everything was delicious. The pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sweet tea. As always I also grabbed a couple bottles of Old Fashioned cream soda before I left.
We spent the night at the Hampton right next y”to the restaurant. When we checked out, we went for a late breakfast. My wife had pancakes and eggs, I had eggs, grits, sirloin tips in garlic butter, and biscuits with sausage gravy. No, I couldn’t eat it all. Cracker Barrel is consistently good, but those sirloin tips were great! Nothing like garlic butter bleeding into my grits😀. There was plenty of room for my wife’s wheelchair, and our hostess quickly made space at our table by removing the chairs. Great service and food.
Our very first date was a Sunday morning at church. After the service, Brynne immediately said, “We gotta feed these kids! Want to go to Cracker Barrel?!” And just like that, we found ourselves at the Lake Park, GA Cracker Barrel—just the two of us and our seven kids! We love Cracker Barrel. However, this time we were unsure what happened. Our order took over 30 minutes to get (2 breakfasts). Our very nice waitress kept checking on it. In the end it was reported that the order was entered as a to go. And when we got our food it was lukewarm. Guess they boxed it, found it, plated it, and sent it out. Love stopping at CB on our family vacations. Nothing special, but it always hits the spot. Loved our server. It's definitely a place we will continue to dine at in the future.
