Let me start by saying that my wife and I love Cracker Barrel, and have been eating at them for years. I travel a lot for work and that has led us to eat at Cracker Barrel in no less than 12 states, and the Lavonia, GA Cracker Barrel is the worst one we’ve ever eaten at by far. Food was not hot. Restaurant busy. Not enough servers. Our waitress McKinley running as fast as she could but most everything was very delayed in happening. At first she was not even told to serve our table. We had waved down 3 people to request initial contact and finally 4th time we got help by going back to guy who sat us. We went around 5:30pm on Saturday and it wasn’t that crowded. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. They bring a basket of biscuits with butter to your table. They have a kids menu that comes with crayons. The food came out very quickly and was delicious! After we ate we looked around in the store which has a lot to offer! We will definitely be back. When you get your ticket you have the option to scan the code and pay on your phone or pay up front at the register.
This Cracker Barrel was really good!!! The service was completely outstanding!!! We were greeted with a smile!!! That goes a long way toward setting a wonderful atmosphere to eat!!!! Our server even moved us closer to the fireplace because it was cold in the restaurant!!! Coffee was some of the best I’ve had in a long time!!! Do yourself a favor and go and check them out!!!
