Cracker Barrel more like cracker not can’t even hire employees to do their job properly how hard is it to look at a screen and prepare a order? $50 and a hr later I received half portion cold and a improper order with no silverware nore the half gallon of tea I ordered note the slice of pie I ordered… absolutely a letdown no communication from the restaurant pictured. Food was not hot. Restaurant busy. Not enough servers. Our waitress McKinley running as fast as she could but most everything was very delayed in happening. At first she was not even told to serve our table. We had waved down 3 people to request initial contact and finally 4th time we got help by going back to guy who sat us. Quick service. Wonderful server, loved the food. Love the gift shop and choices of fun clothes, cards, craft made seasonal gifts. The best part was being able to buy a whole bag for veggie soup. I love the soup, but there's not a Cracker Barrel very close to my home. This is GREAT! I can stay home and still have the best veggie soup.
Let me start by saying that my wife and I love Cracker Barrel, and have been eating at them for years. I travel a lot for work and that has led us to eat at Cracker Barrel in no less than 12 states, and the Lavonia, GA Cracker Barrel is the worst one we’ve ever eaten at by far. Food, Service and Atmosphere were great! The problem was at checkout. I had to cancel the charge on my card to use a different card. The young man at the cash register didn’t know how. So he called his Supervisor and she did not know how so she called her Supervisor that wasn’t sure but tired. After several try’s she thought she had it cancelled.
