I love Cracker Barrel, I’ve had the pleasure of eating at many across the US and this specific one a handful of times. I ordered the southern chicken meal to pick up, with a salad no tomatoes, no cheese (allergies) with egg added. I ordered mashed potatoes and corn. The food was amazing. Pancakes came out nice warm and steamy love the fact that they serve breakfast all day. And don’t let me forget their syrup. It comes out warm as well. My kiddos enjoyed their chicken and dumplings, buttermilk biscuits with jelly and butter top-tier for them and then when asked for gravy to go along with it even better biscuits and gravy were amazing there. We ordered take out It was horrible The so called steak bites seemed like fake meat. It was rubbery and had a disgusting coating. I barely chewed one piece before I spit it out. The pancakes were burned on bottom so you couldn’t see it until you started eating. I spit it out too. The scrambled eggs weren’t completely scrambled and not cooked thoroughly. Ordered curbside. Second time in a row, they got order wrong. They used to do it right but not sure where they forgot their menu. When you order Chicken Fried Chicken with gravy, they think its merely two over fried, whole, (not flattened), chicken breasts without gravy. My food was fine. My boyfriend ordered the turkey dinner. The sweet potato casserole was more like a puree. The green beans was not a complete serving. He remarked that the turkey tasted like something from a can. When the server brought out the cornbread and rolls...the rolls were not done. I asked for cornbread to replace it.
