Picked up another shift of early Sunday morning overtime after I'm finished I head over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast, was hungry for some coffee, pancakes, hash browns, sunnyside up eggs, and sausage, just told the waitress that and before you know the plates were sitting in front of me. I love Cracker Barrel, I’ve had the pleasure of eating at many across the US and this specific one a handful of times. I ordered the southern chicken meal to pick up, with a salad no tomatoes, no cheese (allergies) with egg added. I ordered mashed potatoes and corn. The sides were there and great, I couldn’t eat the salad had to give it away it didn’t have egg and had tomato and cheese. The chicken is off… I can’t get past the smell of it. Super breakfast. Sommer (with an O) was great. Very personable and made us feel really welcome. Food was fast. Caramel Latte was fantastic. Overall a great breakfast atmosphere.
The food was amazing. Pancakes came out nice warm and steamy love the fact that they serve breakfast all day. And don’t let me forget their syrup. It comes out warm as well. My kiddos enjoyed their chicken and dumplings, buttermilk biscuits with jelly and butter top-tier for them and then when asked for gravy to go along with it even better biscuits and gravy were amazing there. Amazing food and even better service given by server Jeremiah! We asked for maple syrup to go with our blueberry pancakes and he brought it warmed! We love CB and visit often after church. Only improvement could be a little sound absorption as it gets loud in there!
