It's busy. The only thing I didn't like was when someone from the staff asked a disabled man if he could move to the other side of the table because he was going to block the way. First of all, they didn't see how long and strength it took for this man to sit down. I am a handicapped woman. I know what and how much strength it takes to get up and sit down. Couldn’t hear a word the waitress was saying but other than that it was a great visit to the Cracker Barrel. I especially like it when I get the fancy blue plate.
Impressive visit for a busy tomorrow year. We visited on a Friday, 2 days after Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised at the management had planned to be be prepared for this busy time. There was a large number of wait staff willing and ready to take care of you as soon as we were seated. I love Cracker Barrel but arrived to sit and stand at a table where someone spilled significant ice tea sticky and no effort to clean. The food lost the seasoning I experienced in the past to be very bland food. I asked for hash brown casserole looked like plane hash browns and sent another order of hash browns slapped with a cheese square still cold. The white gravy was too thick and bland. When you want to experience a true American food on a true American/Texan decorated restaurant. THIS is the place you want to come, but JUST for the experience. Now, the no so happy part..... Today I visited with some friends for lunch and it was DISAPPOINTING.
