They didn't remember part of my order and it happens a lot. However, I paid for it.
Country Fried Steak was not done. The meat was still pink. The meal came with barely a spoonful of gravy on the potatoes and none on the steak. Meal was not even close to Cracker Barrel's usual standard.
Always items missing from order
The chicken tenders were the worst I've ever had. They were rubbery, minuscule & bland. The sauces were disappointing & there's no bacon included with side salad anymore. I feel like I just threw $30 into the garbage can.
Biscuits and gravy were horrible.
chicken and Dumpling soup is hardly a soup.
Meatloaf was soo dry and burnt. Mashed potatoes tasted old. Not the Cracker Barrel i expected. Visiting from FL and my Cracker Barrel is excellent. We wont be coming for breakgast as-planned. Sooo disappointed.
Food was cold and undercooked. Extremely overpriced for what we received. We usually like Cracker Barrel. Unfortunately, the past few times have been consistently bad.
most every time i order the french toast in the past year or so, whoever is preparing it has to be cross - using utensils with other food that has "garlic" in it b/c the french toast has a garlic undertone to it which is just nauseating. it is also way overcooked most of the time. It used to be my favorite dish i would get frequently. Other misc. food items are also wayyyy too salty and bland. You just taste salt. I do not know what changed with this formerly great restaurant.
