This place used to be the Madras, and apparently the same owners changed the restaurant into a different genre. Its now an Italian / American restaurant with a full bar. The atmosphere is nice. I stepped in to check the place out. The staff were friendly. I ordered one of the daily lunch specials for $5.99 + tax as take out. When I lived in Boston I remembered a restaurant called Fire + Ice...
Dependable As with most Cracker Barrels, the food is dependable and there is a variety for all. Add Southern charm to the locals working there and it makes for a great visit. Nice hotels within walking distance.
Typical Cracker Barrel But for those who don't know - they offer a "Country Store" with many of their food sides and old-time favorites being offered as well as some local-type souvenirs. The atmosphere, upon inspection, is quite clean, but it is very much a "home style" feel to it with wooden tables and chairs, vintage candle lanterns on the table, 1940s-1950s paraphernalia...
Num num There is nothing like a home cooked meal and that is what you get when you go to Cracker Barrel! The service is always great and the food will keep you full for quite some time. Always on a wait but it is never too long.

Always Good Like all Cracker Barrels, the food is consistently good and prices are great for the quantity. Good menu selections, as always. As with all other Cracker Barrels, there can be a wait at times.
Another great Cracker Barrel This time we did Cracker Barrel for dinner, and it was its usual excellent self. The meat loaf is highly recommended. I had the apple dumpling for dessert (my usual favorite) but Cracker Barrel's is quite different and way too sweet. They have better desserts.
