Missing my grits.My biscuits are hard and slightly burned and the sausage was not what I ordered
The food was really dry, it looked like it was pretty old. Very disappointed.
The main item was extremely salty and gummy not mention lukewarm. Ordered two sides of the same item. The broth was light brown and thin. The dumplings were also thin(more like for soup not Chicken n' Dumplins) Bread side I ordered biscuits but got stale little pucks that were nothing like a biscuit!!!
Food was old. Only thing that was fresh were the eggs. I had to throw away most of the food
Meatloaf was ok. Chicken & dumplings were ok. The okra was hard & old. The apples were good but swimming in grease. The hash brown casserole was nearly empty. It's like they ran out& scraped the side of the pan but it was actually a missing side. The biscuits were so hard my dog wouldn't even eat them. I guess Cracker Barrel isn't what it used to be .... .
The dumplings were very thick and under cooked . The juice from the green beans and the gravy from the dumplings was all mixed together, ruined everything.
Hushpuppies were burnt and frying oil tasted bad. Fried okra oil tasted old. The fish was good and so were the pintos and slaw.
Fried chicken salad was good. But I paid extra fo hard boiled eggs, an and did not get them! Chicken & dumpling soup was also good.
Pinto beans missing from order. Restaurant says they ran out. They could have called to offer something else.
