Dumplings taste burnt but everything else was delicious
Chicken was like eating jerky. Cake was super dry. Food was like it was a week old. Usually way good. This time was a big disappointment.
Ordered Sunday homestyle chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, side salad, and biscuits. The chicken was dry, cold, and hard. The mashed potatoes were very thick and cold. The biscuits were incredibly hard. I could not even break one of them in half. The salad was good. I was very disappointed in the quality compared to other Cracker Barrel restaurants.
My chicken and dumplings was watery and tasted funny and my mashed potatoes was a big clump stuck together and cold and lumpy
