The food was good, I was missing a side but customer service was quick to refund for the missing item.
The country boy breakfast was amazing. a lot of food for the price. My medium, well, steak was a brickett
OMG, the loaded sweet potatoe are what dreams are made of. the other fare is usually always good. meatloaf, greens and Mac and cheese taste like it is out of my mother's kitchen
everything was delicious. large portions. just forgot the maple syrup. :(
The meatloaf is always spectacular. However, tonight those warm ,soft biscuits stole the show. greens were like they had been cooked by someone's grandma. Of all the chained restauraunts that proclaim authentic southern cooking, cracker Barrel seems to have cornered the market on southern cooking.
I had the sampler meal ( Meat loaf, ham, chicken and dumplings )It was all great. My husband had the hamburger steak. He liked his meal also.
I so look forward to chicken n dumplings, fried okra and green beans. it's my major comfort food. and guys....this just wasn't that good. there wasn't a whole bean in the dish~bottom of the pot I guess, the okra was soggy~not fluffy/crispy like usual, only 2 pieces of chicken with the dumplings. disappointing with the exception of the dumplings themselves. this was a Friday afternoon just before dinner rush.
