If you want to plan a party here, I highly recommend it. My suggestion is that the more people you add who want treatments, the more time you allot. In a way this is a follow-up review. Realizing that I needed help knocking out a stubborn ear/sinus infection I asked Sandie if she could suggest a sacral cranial massage therapist and she set up and appointment with Luna. Next day I came in for a 1.5 hour sacral cranial massage that provided significant relief - not only the pressure in my bead but issues with tension in my neck and shoulder that were affecting my main complaint. I don't feel like I am in the city when here. What is different about this spa is that you only need to come a few minutes early as that is the beginning of your retreat time, they set the tone with a relaxing tea, blended by the owner which gives you time to wind down from traffic, I reccommend enjoying the front patio where you can see the ocean, the building is surrounded by palm trees in the front and the garden area in the back with soothing fountains also. This spa is definitely not a Burke Williams. In a good way. Why? Its not a chain so it has a lot of unique character and I feel like this place gave me really personable service when i visited. I've gone to many different spas and know how to appreciate each and everyone of them individually and each experience is different. I went there on a birthday treat and was greeted with tea. I was feeling not-so great and I knew a far Infrared sauna was what was needed. So grateful to find the Creative Chakra Spa & Yoga Studio so close to where I live. Sandie makes one immediately feel right at home and graciously welcomed. As a rule, I don't like spas because of the environment, not the treatment. I hate walking into a location feeling like I'm in a Dr.'s office. I've been to very expensive spas at hotels and bare bones places and it always seems extremely noisy, too crowded and you can always hear the outside noise during your treatment. Had a wonderful afternoon here with my husband for his birthday. We had a couples massage, hot tub soak and some really delicious soup and salad outside by a fire. My husband and I both agree we had the best massages we'd ever had. I wandered around when I was outside by the fire waiting for my husband to shower and saw that they have a number of rooms for massage and all of them are really cute. I recently co-taught a 3-Day Avesa course there and it was a lovely space to hold a transformational healing workshop. Their location is near the ocean, which is already healing... there is a beautiful relaxing patio outside with lots of plants, saunas, fire pit... Sandie was a great host. I also know that at least one of the participants found time to get a massage there beforehand and raved about how great it was!
