What stands out about my visits with Dr. Tanase are the efficient use of my time, she is very knowledgeable and explains scenarios to my satisfaction. Dr. Tanase is realistic and honest, and is able to convey information about the human body and how it works (or isn't working), appropriately.
Took charge of the situation and made sure I received the test I needed asap
Dr. Tanase genuinely cares about her patients and listens to her patients and runs appropriate tests. She is patient-focused and very knowledgeable. She has caught subtle illnesses with our family that could have easily been missed by a lesser knowledgeable physician. She strikes the perfect balance and doesn’t over or under-medicate. Dr. Tanase, is patient, kind, and will listen to you. I have built a great relationship with her. Anytime I need anything, they go the extra mile. You might have to wait to see her, but she takes the time for each patient.
I saw Dr. Tanase for the first time today, I was very impressed. She is very thorough and accommodating. She even agreed to see my daughter during this visit. Thanks so much, you are highly appreciated. Will be back.
Dr. Tanase is a highly skilled physician. She is an excellent listener, and she blends the best of emotional intelligence with expert medical knowledge in the service of her patients. *I trust her completely.* She is a jewel in the crown of Gwinnett Medical Center, especially at the Monroe, GA location. I have referred several friends to her, most of them doctors themselves. They agree: she is an outstanding practitioner and asset to the medical community.
OK until I recommended my disabled brother see her. She refused to acknowledge that I have the medical directive on him. Frankly, the group home he was in at the time did not want me involved in his health care: weird! She didn't want to be bothered. Ultimately, she stopped seeing both of us: all because I had my brother's best interest at heart. Overall, an unsettling experience.
Dr Tanase is one of the rudest people that I have ever experienced in the in the medical field. My daughter was referred to her by a couple of her friends. Her appointment was today. She was looking for a regular dr that she could afford without insurance and someone who would refill prescriptions. She filled out the paperwork and when the DR came in looked it over and rudely told her she cannot help her and hussled her out the door yelling at her and the front of everyone saying she needed mental health dr for her needs. I saw her for a physical. She immediately wanted to change some of my meds. One med she changed, I did not like the side effects. She would not change me back and was leaving the next day on vacation. I called for a refill on a different med but she wanted to see me before I ran out. I had two doses left. I feel like she just wanted to charge for a doctor's visit. I know my body. The meds I am on, I have been on for years, I was doing great. I will not be returning to her office.
