There was a lack of communication regarding the overall process. We did not know the status of our loan or what the next steps were. We were also disappointed because a home equity line of credit on our principal residence was paid off as part of the closing process, and we found out after the fact this did not need to be paid off as the HELOC lender would have subordinated. It was disappointing but went along with the general lack of information received throughout the process.

Danielle knows her mortgage stuff. It is the support staff and IT that failed us. I also feel that emails do not always replace a simple phone call to solve an issue.

There was poor communication among the staff, which most of the time we had to initiate. There was so much confusion among what was going on and who in control of what. The paperwork the notary brought was not ready and missing several items and even then we still over the period of a week had to resign papers. It was a mess.

Nothing Danielle did. Process was not pleasant since my wife income did not count. Should be different standards for medical professionals who have contracts to work.
