With all of the hot chicken contenders in LA, i'd definitely say Dave's is super basic and average with Howlin Ray's being the best of the best. I used to be a huge fan of Dave's sauce but it tastes a bit more and more artificial every time I've had it recently. Their fries are well seasoned and I always ask for it extra crispy to ensure they taste hot and fresh by the time I get home after my 3 minute walk. I actually went last night for the first time ever and the food was bomb. I will definitely come again, but not at this location because of how the bathrooms were. There was what I assumed was dried period blood on the toilet, toilet paper everywhere, and idk if the graffiti is the normal thing but yeah. Aside from that, customer service was great! The cashier was very nice!

Chicken is always hot and fresh. I get the medium heat selection. Mild is good if you just want a hint of heat. Hot is good for more of "I can feel a little burn ". Hottest well I'm not going there. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I appreciate the staff and good help. Parking is a problem. But I always find parking just be patient someone always pulls out and it's close enough.

First time I came here with some cast mates on an off day - and it there was a long line, but the food was FIRE if you're in Noho - you're lucky to be so close. ha

Dave's Hot Chicken was recommended to me by my best friend Dave! No, he's not The Dave, but the guy has a knack for finding some darn good fried chicken. I got Dave's #3 one tender + one slider with Medium for the Heat along with fries. Large Pepsi. & my homie Dave reminded me during my visit to ask for Honey and use their Secret Sauce. My meal certainly did not disappoint. It is a game changer once you add that sauce AND the honey.
