First time trying Dave's Hot Chicken here in LA in Korean town it was pretty tasty only thing is you will need to eat it fresh while hot... We ordered the sliders and chicken strips medium spice sauce. This is still very spicy if you don't have high tolerance for spice I'd recommend mild sauce. Fries were pretty good as long as you eat it fresh too. The Dave's sauce is fire we liked that very much. Ordered online and they were very good and being quick for pick up! Must try when LA!

Sooo good. Food comes out quick, and pretty cheap! 13 bucks for two sliders and french fries. Amazing

I realized that Dave's does mostly hot chicken tenders, which is different from the LA mainstay for hot chicken (rhymes with growlin jays). I couldn't help but compare the two places as they're probably the most popular hot chicken joints in the area. Dave's is solid. It'll tide over your hot chicken craving. Finally had the chance to try this place and I was pleasantly delighted! My husband and I ordered the 2 chicken sliders w/ cheese and a side of fries and Dave's sauce. THE GOOD - Quality white chicken, fried to perfection. The sliders had the perfect amount of breading, seasoning, cheese, and slaw. Crinkle cut fries were fresh. Wow, did I mention WOW. Finally made it in here after hearing all the rave reviews from my friends. It's tucked away on the corner of a strip mall in K town on Wilshire Blvd. the area is busy and parking may be a challenge but it's worth the little hassle. Have sadly been disappointed by Dave's lately. Feel as if the quality has gone down while prices have gone up. The sauce packets are unfortunate, and the fries seem to get smaller and sadder each time I go. Hope they can return to their roots.

This review is long overdue. I was a regular here for a few weeks when this spot first opened in 2020. When I lived down the street, it was always a solid takeout option after a long day. Forreals, something about Dave's hits different. Not sure if it's their seasoning or the quality of their chicken, but the chicken is immaculate.
