This is a totally different experience from the cedar hills location. Service was fantastic, the dining room was clean and they had someone wiping tables down. They did forget the cheese on one of the orders but were quick to fix it and apologize. While eating a staff member who was wiping tables asked us if we needed any dipping sauce or anything else. Updating review, and giving them one extra star. I've come to like their chicken pretty well. I get it hot, and it's legit hot and spicy with a good flavor. That and the severe decline of Popeye's Chicken, makes Dave's look a heck of a lot better. There are still pretty big drawbacks however. Their sides are severely lacking imo, and it's certainly not a very friendly place. And it takes them a *crazy long* time to get your food. I recently tried Dave's Hot Chicken and it definitely lived up to the hype. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. I ordered the medium spice level, and it had the perfect kick without being overwhelming. The sliders were loaded with fresh slaw, pickles, and their signature sauce, which tied everything together. Food was great. My family loves it. What was remarkable, was the staff. They all were incredibly friendly, without being over the top. Professional, reading back the order clearly and with purpose, shared their names with every consumer and we're personal in inviting anyone to seek them out if anything was needed.
