Pleasantly surprised! We tried this spot twice this week -- once with no spice on the chicken tenders and once with mild for me and medium for my partner. They have a hierarchy for spice level that you're able to choose from when you order. My box came with mild chicken tenders, seasoned French fries, pickles and 2 pieces of white bread. I was pleasantly surprised just happen to be going by. I needed something quick for lunch so I stopped. I'm not normally a white meat guy or a chicken strip guy, but it was very tender, Juicy, tasty. I just might go back.

Hot chicken is optional when u order . I tried the mild which has flavor with a lil bit of sweetness to it but I feel it's just okay . I prefer other chicken establishments before this one . I had the slider and the strip which to me is the same just a lil change in scenery. Fries were sprinkled in the the same powder as chicken . To each there own

Pretty huge changes to the portion of the chicken tender this week. I would surmise it's a 30% or more reduction and they no longer stick out from under the slider bun. While this might be okay for a leader at a bar it's an abrupt modification. Taste is still good but impacted by smaller thickness of tender versus fryer oil and coating. So went from near perfection to a modified version. Maybe John Taffet came in and modified for profit and I don't appreciate it.

I'm not a big hot chicken fan or even a fired chicken sandwich fan, but Dave's got me liking their sandwiches. I get the light mild because I'm not a fan of eating anything that prevents me from tasting the food and only tasting the heat. That's a good sandwich. Great seasoning, crispy outer and moist tender interior. It's almost a perfect chicken sandwich. Beats any I've had Chick-fil-a, Popeyes, Canes or any other fast food chain. I know a lot of people like that he food but I was kind of indifferent about it. Portion size was ok for the price but like all fast food the price is getting to be a bit too much. Options of about 5 different spice levels which is nice. Staff was friendly and seemed to still be training when I visited. Wait was a little long for the food though. Overall I don't think I would be back but that doesn't mean you won't like it more.
