Dave's is always good, nothing special compared to other locations though. Spacious seating, good interior design, and service was good. I like how they have the digital kiosk system for ordering. Food i got the new top loaded fries and the tenders were decent, 3.5/5 or 4/5. Comparable to other hot chicken places, definitely not the best, but great!

My husband loves spicy food and wanted to try it. He was super happy with his chicken!! I didn't give a full 5 star because I, on the other hand, don't like spicy food and my chicken was completely bland.. not even a hint of salt.. But if you like spicy, this is the place to be!!! Service is super fast too!

This was a new restaurant that came to town recently and I was finally able to try it out! I ordered I believe it was the number one combo which is chicken tenders and fries and a drink. I got the medium level of heat and although the fries and the tenders were very good the medium heat did have a kick to it the service was phenomenal. We were served very fast and friendly, and the ambience was moderately loud but for a quick bite to eat, especially if you like hot items or spicy items this is definitely the spot to go again... read more

We stopped at Dave's hot chicken on our way to Long Beach. I got the one tender slider. It was pretty huge as far as sliders go it was more like a sandwich size. I got the spice, medium and added, honey on top of my sandwich. The sandwich had one Dave's hot chicken tender coleslaw, pickles on a delicious brioche bun. My husband got the two tender combo with french fries. Their fries are in my top five. I love them and crave them often. Our food was very fresh and the service was pretty good. Pleasantly surprised! We tried this spot twice this week -- once with no spice on the chicken tenders and once with mild for me and medium for my partner. They have a hierarchy for spice level that you're able to choose from when you order. My box came with mild chicken tenders, seasoned French fries, pickles and 2 pieces of white bread. I was pleasantly surprised just happen to be going by. I needed something quick for lunch so I stopped. I'm not normally a white meat guy or a chicken strip guy, but it was very tender, Juicy, tasty. I just might go back.

Hot chicken is optional when u order . I tried the mild which has flavor with a lil bit of sweetness to it but I feel it's just okay . I prefer other chicken establishments before this one . I had the slider and the strip which to me is the same just a lil change in scenery. Fries were sprinkled in the the same powder as chicken . To each there own

Pretty huge changes to the portion of the chicken tender this week. I would surmise it's a 30% or more reduction and they no longer stick out from under the slider bun. While this might be okay for a leader at a bar it's an abrupt modification. Taste is still good but impacted by smaller thickness of tender versus fryer oil and coating. So went from near perfection to a modified version. Maybe John Taffet came in and modified for profit and I don't appreciate it.
