Tried Dave's Hot Chicken on W Sahara for the first time today, and I'm officially converted. I got a light mild 2-piece with a Coke Zero, and my man grabbed one with cheese. At the window, we asked Blue if there were any sauces we should try, and they happily hooked us up with Dave's sauce and some honey, telling us to drizzle them on. They serve good sized chicken breast that is flavorful and moist. Ordered medium and a mild. They are true to the label. The medium had a nice kick but not too much while the mild was not bland at all. We liked that the chicken is not over breaded and the sauce is really good. The meals are served southern style on a couple slices of whitbread with a few dill pickle slices. We did not get any cheese, as there's an option. There's a location closer to me opening soon and I wanted to give them a try without dealing with grand opening crowds and wait times so I travel a lil bit to come to this established location. At first when I checked out the menu I wasn't impressed by the value of what you get for your money, but after eating I can say that the price is somewhat worth it because the size of the tenders are bigger than all of the other places around here (Cane's, Bojangles, Slim Chickens, etc.), at least the one that I got. Great atmosphere, tables could use some TLC, but regardless, the chicken always hits, the service every time I have came here was excellent. Blue helped me a couple of my times here and she really makes me feel like my day is going well every time with her smile and upbeat energy! Thanks Dave's on Sahara team and Blue, you guys are dope.

The food at Dave's is great as always. What stood out today was the service. There was a very large group, ordering individually, in addition to a long line. Blu, who was taking orders, was extremely professional. She had a smile on her face and made sure everyone was taken care of even as multiple people were coming up to her for differing things including takeout orders. She's the kind of employee you hope to keep and have multiple of!!
