TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long. THE JOURNEY After 6 months of running the pop-up with long lines, the team took the plunge and opene... read more

The food they advertise on social media looks so good. However, in reality it's not worth your money. -The chicken tasted like chili powder or something, and it barely had flavor. -The slice of bread I had was hard and crusty -The fries was not good, and tasted like frozen bag fries -The drink was small, and expensive -The special sauce taste like mayo -The slider was mid af Just go to Raisin Canes!! It was very expensive for the quantity and quality of the food. For starters, anything above medium may have you sitting on the toilet for the night. The fries were hard, not hard as in crispy, but hard as in not fresh. The mac&cheese didn't taste like anything. Last but not least, all the sauces they gave us were expired since last month. Better luck just going to canes.

Tiny max and cheese serving $4 A tiny drizzle of cheese on the fries The prices and serving sizes are pathetic

The sauce taste just like mayo , the fact that a drink is not included with the combo makes more expensive is ridiculous When I bit into the chicken I mainly just tasted the powdered seasoning it was not enjoyable

I've been waiting for this place to open for weeks. Did the food look like the pictures on the website? Absolutely not. Definitely false advertisement. It reminded me of when you order something off of Wish.Com and you get something completely different. So don't be fooled by the pics. Was the chicken good? Yes. Very flavorful. Were the cheese fries worth the extra $1.50? No. They are the kinda cheese fries you get where just the top 4 fries have cheese and the rest are bare. It's as if whomever made them said "chee... read more
