Another first for us while in Texas. The service was good, the ambiance was a unique for a fast food place. If you have ever had a Nashville hot chicken it is basically the same thing. I would definitely eat there again.

First time at Dave's Hot Chicken it was for sure an experience. The chicken was good texture and cooked well. The seasoning was really weird and it has to be an acquired taste to enjoy, I would recommend you go just for the experience .

Ok, so the chicken here is amazing. Some of the best I've ever had. They offer several different spice levels, and they come with a really good dipping sauce. Everything was super fresh. Now, the reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because of the sides. The fries were generic store bought, and the bread was basic white bread. I think if this place cut their own fries, it would really elevate it. Also, basic white bread just seems so cheap and easy. At least toast the bread or make something more unique. Food was good; fries were very crispy delicious, Mac and cheese was okay. For the flavor we tried the hot and extra hot (it has a kick to it but not extremely spicy) P.S. I'm Hispanic and enjoy spicy food. Service was good. Milkshake was extra milky, wouldn't buy one but it was free. The ambiance was not so great, very echoing and loud, sticky tables and loud chairs.
