Solid 3 maybe 3.5. Nothing really stands out but it's not bad. Juicy fat chicken pieces like you would expect from a Nashville hot chicken spot. Where they really lose their edge is their sauce. If their fries were crispy that could have definitely made it better but I've been there a few times and fries have been consistently soggy and underwhelming. The food was really fresh and the line went by super quick! Great location and the restaurant is clean and well organized! Great experience overall.
Not the best hot chicken I've ever had, but maybe the best you can get in Ontario. This Dave's location is for the locals. Not good enough to go out of your way for, like you might for Dave's in Hollywood. So I just had an order of the sliders with kale slaw and both of my sliders were barely spiced up even though I ordered hot. Once upon a time hot at Dave's was really spicy. This is my first time to this location. The store was clean and I went in to wash my hands and the bathroom was nice and clean too.. When I was at the counter to order, it was hard to hear the lady helping me at the counter as the music inside the restaurant was so loud. I also had to repeat myself as she couldn't hear me either. I got the slider and chicken tender. The sandwich was ok, not great but good. Didn't like the dipping sauce, Cane's tastes much better.
