TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

This was my first time trying Dave’s Hot Chicken and it did not disappoint. I got the #3 meal at level Hot to test the waters so to speak on spice level and it was phenomenal for me hot is perfect. The whole meal is very filling and the chicken is tender and delicious. Fries were also well seasoned and the spice complimented the tenders and fries. 10/10 will go again.
We ordered takeout, and it was good. We got the medium spice, and it was good. The French fries were alright. I would have microwaved them if we had a microwave in the hotel. The sandwich was good. The pickles were good with the sandwich, but adding the cole slaw made it very flavorful.
Decided to try Daves Hot Chicken. Got Mild because I wasn't in the mood to die by heat. It was delicious! Still really hot, but very delicious. Moist chicken, breaded and covered in spices. Daves Sauce is amazing and the fries were awesome. Will go back again.
Dave’s has became one of our top places to grab a bite to eat. My wife and I usually just share the two slider combo and it works great for us. If you have not been yet, this is a must have. Swing by and grab you some mouth watering chicken. We recommend the Hot level chicken but it’s different for everyone.
Disappointing experience, wouldn't go here - all hype. The location on Bricktown and interior decor is awesome. We had high hopes after seeing the lines in London over the holiday. Once we ordered 3 meals for $50 and were asked for a tip (at a fast food restaurant?), it was downhill from there. With 10 young employees joking around at the counter, it was hard to accept the wait time as it crept up to 30 mins.
