TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I got the 1 tender (hot) 1 slider (medium) combo and added cheese to my slider. The chicken came out piping hot and tasted very good. Personally I liked the medium heat more than the hot. I highly recommend adding honey to at least one of your bites of chicken you won't regret it.
Dave's is fine. I got the Reaper. It is pretty ridiculous hot. But the chicken itself isn't anything special. The location decor is a lot of fun. Location is great. But the chicken isn't particularly great or special.
Anytime my family has a chance, we stop by and get 20 of their Extra Hot Tenders, 3 cups of their fantastic pairing pickles, and tubs worth of their yummy “Dave’s Sauce.” The tenders are a little pricey but the food is good, the service is fast, and if you’re getting it to go, there’s no way to lose! If you’re dining in the tables are a little messy but besides that, the chicken is still good. best chicken I ever had, it's really great!! The atmosphere was lovely, and service was wonderful, and the person that was serving me was super nice. The price is a little bit more than what they said,, but OK
This place is a fav of ours. Everything is delicious and cooked to order. Your food is fresh and hot. The slaw is so good and their special sauce is YUMMY! The staff is always friendly and helpful. The dining area is always clean. When the weather is nice we eat on their patio. The chicken ‘bites’ are my go to.
