TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

My girlfriend and I had Dave's lastnight and had to get it again tonight. This location is super clean and the service is super helpful and friendly. They have a drive through too which is super super convenient too :)

Had a late night craving and was happy to stumble across Dave's Hot Chicken. It was maybe 11pm and was surprised they were still open. I went inside and was surprised it was rather busy. I was helped by a young, tall Caucasian who took my order. He was courteous and very helpful when I ordered my food. I don't go to Dave's Hot Chicken frequently so he took the time to explain the level of spiciness of my food. My experience with him was pleasant. As I waited for my food. The eating area was busy. And honestly, kinda dirt... read more
