TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

First time visiting Dave's Hot Chicken. My wife and I are seniors and were confused with menu and what to order. Jessica took her time explaining each option and different items. Our order was received exactly as ordered. The chicken was also very good, juicy, and still warm when we got it home. Just want to point out that this place was clean, and other team members were taking care of other customers who didn't require our extra attention. Thanks for being patient with us boomers!
Jessica was such a wonderful help, great customer service and even opened the door for us to leave. Not only is the food fantastic but Jessica made the experience that much more sweeter thank you Jessica!

what went well was the service, when i tell you it was incredible this lady named jessica the cashier was so polite and made me feel so excited to eat here. once the food comes it was delicious, and i will recommend and try to come here more often!
First time at this location and it was better than I expected! I came here on a Saturday to order takeout for dinner. I ordered the #4 in medium spice. and it came out within 5 minutes. Customer service was nice and asked if I wanted ketchup and honey (some places don't offer anything unless you ask). There are couple of tables and chairs if you wanted to eat there. Stopped by this location of Dave's Hot Chicken located in downtown San Leandro for dinner this past Saturday. We had a pretty late dinner so luckily it wasn't too busy. However, they do get a lot of to go orders. The staff were welcoming and the restaurant was very clean, which I appreciated.
