TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Service was okay, food is good, the Reaper sauce was spicy but not extreme. The place was dirty and hot. Wish they had drive thru.
had the hot chicken slider and fries plus a tender. it was good and portion size was good. milkshake was just ok. pretty small place inside.
Food is pretty good/ consistent from the times i have eaten here. However service is on the slow side and lack luster at best. Portions are okay Flavor okay Menu Options not many (don't come here if u don't like spice bc they only offer different spice levels no other flavor options except basically plain) I would not eat in unless I had to bc the location is small. Overall cool but not a place I would name as my go to spot if I want some southern hot chicken.
The Reaper Hot Level (Reaper Sandwich) makes you want to re-evaluate your life decisions. Why is this delicious? I might faint from spices. I want to take another bite! after a few bites of Mac & Cheese... I learned now to take two levels down in hot levels. Ordering Takeout is like a gift on Christmas. Their accuracy makes you feel seen. I have yet to visit in-store, but the staff is dedicated to their craft regardless. Quality is excellent, sauce is reminiscent, I don't think this is a spot to miss!
First time having this and it was not a disappointment at all. Can't wait to try it again. The kale slaw tastes great with the juicy chicken.
I ordered Dave's #2: 2 Sliders w/Fries (1 Medium & 1 Hot) & a Large Strawberry Shake. Dave's Hot Chicken has been on my food bucket list since the first grand opening in Vegas. I will definitely be back for another Dave's #2. I highly recommend this establishment!
Amazing chicken! The best you can get with fast food chicken, and even the no-spice option was fantastic. The service was also incredible. Ty took my order, and brightened my day up with her jokes and infectious positivity. I'll be coming back to this Dave's location, and I can't recommend it more to anyone in the area looking for a quick meal.
First time at Dave's and I definitely enjoyed the experience. The chicken was juicy and Dave's will definitely be added to my fast food rotation when possible!
Quick service, friendly staff!! Food was great! So happy this location is finally open!
