TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Crazy to see Dave's Hot Chicken at every corner of LA now. I'm glad this location opened up in Little Tokyo side of downtown. Downtown needed more affordable food options. This location offers free drink or milkshake with a Yelp Checkin. This review is mainly for the customer service. The cashier today during lunch was hustling all by himself and was able to hold down the restaurant by himself in an efficient manner. Really appreciated his great customer service.
I got the 1 slider with fries (hot). It was my first time at this location-order was fast and efficient! The employee was very friendly and my food was so hot I had to wait to take a bite. They were very generous with the portions. Chicken was so perfect inside! Juicy, tender and perfect texture on the outside. Fries were hot and crispy. The sauce is sooo damn good. Very satisfied with this meal, location and the customer service. I parked a block away to avoid congestion. Great meal for $11!
Service was fast! Food is good! Works are friendly and kind. Took forever to open but it was worth the wait
