TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I got hot, and that was hot enough. Frys were good and hot. For me, 2 tenders with frys and a drink was 15.00, little pricey but good. They also do veterans discount.
Visited for the first time today to pick up a quick dinner. The staff recommended the number 2, which is 1 sandwich and 1 tender. We picked the medium spice, and it was the perfect blend of flavor and spice. We added the Mac and cheese as it was highly recommended. It did not disappoint, as the Mac and cheese was very creamy and cheesy. The vanilla shake was very good also. We will definitely come back to this location when we are in the area.
It's has become a go to spot for me now. Anytime, I am hungry and can't think or find of what to eat I go to Dave's. It never disappoints. Having this as halal options is very helping knowing Dave's is all over the place. Love the sliders and shakes. There sauce is also good! Totally recommended
My kids are hooked on Dave's! The food is great! They really hit a good hot sauce right on the head! Fries are a great compliment with the chicken and I love the white bread option. The key is consistency. They make sure you get the same thing you hope to get on every visit! My kids probably ask twice a week for Dave's. Wish we had a location closer to us, but it's always worth a drive.
So glad Burbank opened a Dave’s Hot Chicken here. Definitely beats the other small eateries in the Empire Shopping Center. Service was adequate. Maybe step up customer service a notch. Restaurant clean. Food sooo yummy!
