TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Placed my order online. Got there and was told they had gotten my order where I placed it at 940pm. Place was half empty. Upon arrival I was told to wait 5 mins at 950. I got my meal at 1009pm and my meal ticket said it was ready 1003pm. They didn't call my name. Cmon y'all? Just got home and I'm missing a side and cutlery that I chose while ordering online. Cmon y'all.
I got hot, and that was hot enough. Frys were good and hot. For me, 2 tenders with frys and a drink was 15.00, little pricey but good. They also do veterans discount.
So glad Burbank opened a Dave’s Hot Chicken here. Definitely beats the other small eateries in the Empire Shopping Center. Service was adequate. Maybe step up customer service a notch. Restaurant clean. Food sooo yummy!
The food was really good , first time having it since im not from here the service was good as well until i had asked for a box and bag. the black girl there *i didn’t catch her name* that i asked had a attitude and didn’t even say your welcome or smile. i came here 11/8/24 and it was around 5pm. Also the food isn’t that spicy lol. everyone else there was nice!
I stopped by saturday evening and i wasn’t disappointed. The service was great and the food was amazing. The quality tasted fresh and real, and it always hits the spot. Overall great spot.
