TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

I ordered to go because they were super busy and seating was limited. It took a while for the food to come but it was very good!!! I'll be back
Placed my order online. Got there and was told they had gotten my order where I placed it at 940pm. Place was half empty. Upon arrival I was told to wait 5 mins at 950. I got my meal at 1009pm and my meal ticket said it was ready 1003pm. They didn't call my name. Cmon y'all? Just got home and I'm missing a side and cutlery that I chose while ordering online. Cmon y'all.
I love the food at Dave's Hot Chicken, and the prices are super reasonable in comparison to most fast food of this quality. I always get take out, because the atmosphere of the restaurants is a little open and noisy for me. But the sliders and tenders are delicious and tender, the slaw is good, especially when mixed with Dave's sauce (I put it on the chicken), the fries are great and I love the macaroni and cheese. We go to the Lankershim and Burbank locations every couple of months.
I got hot, and that was hot enough. Frys were good and hot. For me, 2 tenders with frys and a drink was 15.00, little pricey but good. They also do veterans discount.
The chicken was very tender I'll give them that but their spice range is so off its laughable. We got mild,medium, and extra hot. It was a disappointment the mild is nothing but red food coloring no spice whatsoever, same thing for the medium. The only one that had a mild tastefull spice was the extra hot at this point we might as well get the reaper for a really good spice experience
