This is the real deal if you are looking for some really delicious hot chicken. Having eaten the real Nashville hot chicken hundreds of times, I was pretty skeptical about trying a chain outside of Nashville. While the service was very average, and the cleanliness of the restaurant could be greatly improved on, the chicken was delicious. For those that are familiar with Nashville, hot chicken, if you want the equivalent of a medium, get the hot here. Okay Okay okay....everybody is hyped over this Nashville Hot Chicken thing. I get it. What i don't get is all the rave about Dave's. Did i like it?... yeah it was cool. Did i like it where i can't wait to go back?....naw.. Don't get me wrong it was tasty. What i will say is this, they give you a quality piece of chicken, all though it's a tender, it's a good piece of chicken. That alone has me sold. The atmosphere in the store was upbeat and vibrant. Across the street from the Apollo and busy. 20 people can sit inside. The spice does not make you sweat but it’s a hot feeling! Medium is spicy enough even with 2 packets of honey and special sauce! You can share the slider entree with crinkle fries it’s so filling. Doesn’t come with a drink. The spice is curry-esque, even if you don’t like curry you will like this! 

Anne Hathaway did not spit in my food.

I liked this two-strip meal w/ medium heat intensity. The fries & pickles were perfectly made & nicely crispy/crunchy. Satisfied my appetite for the entire rest of the day! Though I suppose I could've split it into two portions, as I tend to do nowadays.

I truly had an outstanding time at Dave’s Hot Chicken. The food was delicious; it was hot and spicy and crunchy. The service was exceptional; the server said, “What do you want?” And I responded with, “a sandwich and mac and cheese, please.” Then he very kindly said, “we don’t have mac and cheese at this location.” Instead I ordered fries. The atmosphere really brought it home for me; it smelled like chicken. Fellow Google users - I urge you to come check out Dave’s Hot Chicken.
