TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

The food was good. They serve you huge pieces of chicken. Be sure and consider the size of the chicken when ordering.
Love this place always coming back for more and the staff are super nice. Really fast service and the food is always delicious. Very nice and friendly vibes also very clean tables.

Don't sleep on this place. Tried it for the first time last week. Was kind of discouraged by pricing and the thought of getting a tender on a bun aka a "slider". But decided to give it a go and boy was I wrong. The "slider" was a regular bun. The fixings they put on it was sooooo goood. Been back twice now since then. Absolutely love this place. The spicy chicken sandwiches are always consistent and delicious. The fries are well seasoned, not over done, and you can tell they haven't been sitting out for a couple days like other fast food places. I recommend added the honey to your spicy chicken sandwhiches. This place does get busy like most of the businesses in this area, so the inside can get noisy!
it's a really good place to eat here. the fries are so good. the sandwiches are bomb. something different than the rest. the only thing is that you'll get tired of eating it. i only come here once a while when im craving it. (first time trying it was december of 2022)
The food was fresh, Nothing was cold, Chicken was juicy and the seasoning was very good. Fries were good also. Whenever I'm craving a better then fast food chicken sandwich I'd come here again specially since I live pretty close. Over all solid food and no complaints.
What's the deal with all these hot chicken places popping up? That's what you may be thinking- but trust me, this is the best one out there! I've tried several different "hot chicken" chains, and Dave's is consistently fresh & tender meat. I'd recommend skipping the sandwich and just sticking to the chicken tenders- the true star of the show. They offer no spice, literally mild, mild, and on up. It's a powdered spice, not wet. Pretty dang good unless they load it up with paprika . Been there three times and the first two no complaints about the chicken. It was pretty tasty. The third time it was well way too much paprika, and the waitresses assured me that the recipe never changed. Eh.. Not true. . We couldn't eat it.
