TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A. In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Our family loves Dave’s hot chicken. I have also used it for Catering. They have a variety of spice on the chicken everything from no spices to as spicy as you can stand it. The sliders are excellent pickles on the sliders are wonderful. We’ve had the coleslaw the mac & cheese, and the kids love the chicken fingers. It’s a great atmosphere very friendly. Staff has some outdoor dining during the summertime.
I love this place! On the rare occasion I eat "fast food" this is my number one choice. You can't beat the price for the amount of food you get and the freshness of the ingredients. My go to is the slider and add honey. Sooo yummy. Sometimes there can be a little wait, but it's always worth it. And they don't charge for extra sauce!
Pleasantly surprised!! I have never been here before and didn't have high hopes due to an experience at a popular similar menu fast food restaurant.... but wow was I wrong! I got a 2 tender combo with one "less mild" and the other "mild". I loved the spice level of "mild" the best because it wasn't spicy at all (spice whimp here) but it added just the right amount of flavor to make it perfect. If you like chicken strips with spice, this is the place to go. First time checking out this chain, I tried the medium spice #4 combo, the Oreo shake and Mac and cheese too. Everything tasted amazing. The chicken is what I was here for and it was full of flavor, definitely coming back. Combos cost between $10-$20, drink is extra. Free parking.
Great chicken place. The mac-n-chs wasn't the best but everything else was pretty flavorful. I like the flavor of the seasoning they use on the chicken and I like that I can choose my spice level. Enjoy!
