I've passed a Dave's Hot Chicken in Manhattan multiple times but it was always when I was running to catch a bus so I never got to stop in. Recently Dave's Hot Chicken ran a promotion that crossed over with the "Fallout" Amazon show so I had extra incentive to visit! I was home so I wound up driving to this location on 22. My first time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and I GET THE HYPE. The chicken tenders are so juicy and flavorful?? And the Dave's sauce is better than Raising Canes ahhhhh The only thing is it does take some time for them to get the food out. I recommend getting the level of hot spice or higher if you can handle heat! that's all from me B^)

Taking out for my nephew who lives Daves. The bites and slider and a wait. Interesting shake menu. The place has a crowd. The decor is cool. The chicken can be mild or spicy and it's pretty good for a fat food type of place.

VERY, VERY, VERY SLOW! Chicken is great. But if you are in a hurry or on your lunch hour, FORGET IT! At least 30 minutes from ordering to arriving in my hands.

Went here again after having bad experience my first time here. I got their # 3 Combo which includes hot chicken slider, chicken tender and fries and a chocolate shake. They give you a sliding scale choice of how hot you want it. I ordered hot. Slider was good, but still think too much batter on chicken. Tender was huge. Fries are crinkle cut , similar to store bought and average at best. Heat was nice on chicken. Chocolate shake was very good.

This was my second visit to same location. I enjoyed the meal therefore went back for exact meal. The service was superb! The counterperson should be commended on attending to customers without a hiccup. She continued to keep the flow of online pick-up orders going, as well as, walk-ins too! Great customer service - which seems to have taken a back seat with merchants lately. Hooray to Tanta-Nasha C for the ability to do all!!! Union NJ 07083.

Dave's Hot Chicken just opened near my job, so I had to check it out for lunch. I went with the hot nuggets--not realizing they come coated in a dry rub. Heads up: they can be a little dry on their own, so dipping sauce is a must. Heat level was mild for me, but I've heard the top-tier spice is no joke. Fries were golden and crispy, no complaints there.
