This is a new establishment in East Brunswick and it was my first time going. We waited on line about 20 minutes to order as the place was packed. We ordered the slider box. Which comes with 10 sliders and ordered half mild and half hot. What they call a slider a call an entire sandwich so be warned . We also ordered a box of fries which are seasoned, kale slaw, pickles and the Mac and cheese. The chicken sliders were good. My new go to spot on rt 18 for a quick bite! I came a day after opening and it was so busy and for good reason! The tenders are massive yet still juicy. I got the hot & extra hot tenders and will for sure try the reaper next! The hot was a good heat but the extra hot didn't seem that much hotter. I upgraded and got the cheese fries. They were a bit skimp on the cheese but I'll give them another chance when it isn't so busy.

Update: I reached out to Dave's as suggested in a reply to me. I left my information and got a text from a gentleman, Jorge, who asked me to send him a photo of my receipt. Next text was an offer to send me a $10 coupon to use at a future visit. I politely declined and asked for my money back. No reply. I followed up and no reply.

I decided a while ago I would limit my negative reviews till I came across a place that truly deserves one...Dave's Hot Chicken truly deserves one. I had never eaten here before, but passed it many times since it opened. I decided earlier today to try it out and even looked up online their menu and registered for thier rewards club. Sorry but I don't know how the hell this place gets businesses because this food is horrible it's nothing but pure seasoning the breading is hard the coleslaw is horrible customer service was fine though!

Food was pretty mediocre, and the chicken itself is bland without the hotness. The spice level thing is a cool gimmick, but the chicken itself is very plain. With a side they give plain white bread that is super lightly toasted and French fries that are hot oil tasteless strips. Atmosphere is nice with the graffiti art and popular in 60s/70s rock and roll. Service is good and fairly fast like a 15 min wait. Overall, not worth it.
