First time trying DHC. We were impressed! The atmosphere was lively. The food was flavorful. My husband got the extra hot and my mouth was on fire. You get a lot of food for your buck. They do not charge for extra sauce. I was surprised to see alcohol options for drinks. They have high chairs that we didn’t see until leaving. They have coloring pages and crayons for kids. We visited the second day they were open, and they had fun decor outside! The owner was greeting people at the front door and handing out menus. I appreciated the owner being there. The line to order didn't last long but gave us time to look at our handheld menus. My husband and I have ordered 2 sliders with 2 orders of fries to split at the Bricktown locations, so we did the same thing here. 1st time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and man I should have paid attention to the Name of the restaurant. Went with the Extra Hot slider and tender combo was pleasantly surprised by the HEAT! Very nice portions of chicken, Slaw and pickles were good compliments. Will definitely go back but next time it will be without the X-tra..
The restaurant is neat looking and was very clean. The man taking our order was nice. This was our first visit. We ordered two #1 meals with one drink and one shake. It was $35! The meals came with 2 chicken tenders (good size), fries, and 2 pieces of cold plain white bread. Drinks are not included. The chicken breading was soggy. Half of the chicken was room temp at best. Super fun vibe and awesome fried chicken! The halal chicken is really great quality and you can tell. I like spice and went with the medium spice level. 5 stars all around!
