The environment was fun and I enjoyed the service. The food came out quickly as well. My favorite thing about the restaurant was the 'not chicken' and the fries. However, overall, the food isn't to my taste. I expect it to be more of a wet sauce arrangement instead of a dry rub. It seemed like I would taste the dry seasoning powder how many times I ate the food. I'm sure someone else would enjoy the restaurant, but this one isn't for me.

First time trying DHC. We were impressed! The atmosphere was lively. The food was flavorful. My husband got the extra hot and my mouth was on fire. You get a lot of food for your buck. They do not charge for extra sauce. I was surprised to see alcohol options for drinks. They have high chairs that we didn’t see until leaving. They have coloring pages and crayons for kids. Finally feel decent enough to send in a review. As a trucker I travel all over. I’ve eaten Dave’s Hot Chicken everywhere. This experience was my last time eating Dave’s PERIOD. I order the same thing every time (No Spice). After eating it an hour later I felt this uncomfortable feeling like something was out of whack “nauseous”. We visited the second day they were open, and they had fun decor outside! The owner was greeting people at the front door and handing out menus. I appreciated the owner being there. The line to order didn't last long but gave us time to look at our handheld menus. My husband and I have ordered 2 sliders with 2 orders of fries to split at the Bricktown locations, so we did the same thing here. 1st time trying Dave's Hot Chicken and man I should have paid attention to the Name of the restaurant. Went with the Extra Hot slider and tender combo was pleasantly surprised by the HEAT! Very nice portions of chicken, Slaw and pickles were good compliments. Will definitely go back but next time it will be without the X-tra..
