I visited Dave's for the first time when I stopped in for a quick lunch. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so I walked right up to the register. The gentleman behind the counter was polite and greeted me promptly upon entry. I ordered the #1 combo, which consisted of two tenders and fries. It was served with white bread, pickles, and some sort of sauce. I ordered the medium rub on the tenders. The food was just okay. The quality seemed decent, and the portion size was about what I expected. It's more that I didn't care for the... read more

I ordered online for pick up and ate my food in my car before I left. The great: - My food was ready right when I walked in. - It was hot (as in freshly made) and made correctly. -The person who was behind The Counter was very welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed before I left. The okay/good: The food is OK to good. I ordered a medium-spiced single slider with everything on it and added cheese. The outside was super crunchy, which was good, however, the chicken itself was overcooked and dry on the inside. ... read more

Dave's Hot Chicken is so. so good! I brought my co-workers here for lunch and they were blown away. The staff and managers are incredibly helpful and cordial. You can see that they are happy to work there. They are always cleaning and moving as quickly as possible. The chicken is so flavorful and juicy. It is especially good with the kale coleslaw accompanied by pickles. The bread and bun is also really good. The dries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Seasoned to perfection. The restaurant is colorful and... read more

Dave's Hot Chicken has a cool, fun restaurant with neat artwork and great-looking food. The spicy chicken sandwich and fries taste okay, but they aren't as amazing as people on the internet make them sound. The food is fine for a quick meal, but it isn't anything special. Overall, it's a nice place to hang out, but the food itself is just middle-of-the-road.
