After hearing about the infamous "Reaper" level of spicy at Dave's Hot Chicken, I had to check this place out. I did not have the wherewithal to try the Reaper on this visit, but it's definitely on the list! I decided to begin with Medium and Hot. Hot is hottt, but bearable. The tenders are huuuge and the sliders are almost big enough to be considered a small sandwich. First time trying this new cool place. Ordered the two piece tender, one mild and one hot, to try something different. The first initial bite you feel a little bland powder taste, thereafter you start tasting the heat and flavors. It's delicious. The chicken is very tender, soft and easy to pull apart.

My friend & I needed a quick bite & Dave's Hot Chicken was the perfect choice. We decided to dine-in & ordered off the kiosk. Great minds think alike, as we both ordered tenders with fries. Our food was made fast & fresh. Andre was kind & helpful. My friend's tenders were mild while I ordered hot; we were both happy with our choices. There was ample seating & the interior was clean. I would return.

1/2 Dave's Hot Chicken absolutely lived up to the hype. Judging this purely from a chicken sandwich perspective: this is a solid 4.5 stars. The chicken breast was thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a crispy breading that's boldly seasoned without being overwhelming. We had lunch here after seeing Wynwood Walls (walking distance) and all four of us liked our chicken! It was moist, large portions, and the flavor was great! Friendly service welcomed us and the place was very clean!
