First time at a Dave's Hot Chicken. The good and the bad: The good: - Had the tenders meal and they were plump, juicy and hot. The bad. - no cups for water. Had to buy a bottle for $3.25. - waited 25 min for my meal at 7pm on a Monday. Not very busy in the restaurant, but maybe they were prioritizing take-out? - having a tough time describing the seasoning. Very expensive for a chicken tender sandwich (sliders). Some would call them chicken hotdogs. The food was just okay, not terrific. The service at the register was good. They take your order, you pay, and then they give you a beeper to let you know when your food is ready to be picked up. The tables needed to be cleaned when we were there. Gave five stars for good quality food and service. Staff was friendly and explained everything well. The store was clean and had a fun vibe. It's definitely a place to try. If you like these chicken tender joints you have to try these. The combo we had was the #2, two sliders fries and pickles. The "sliders" are huge! They are on burger buns so clearly we shared them. My first time ever trying Dave's Hot Chicken. I've eaten at places very similar to them before but this review is for the food I received not a comparison. As for the ambiance, it's a basic fast food place nothing special but it's was clean. I ordered the 2 slider meal with a mild coating. The fries were great, plenty of them for 1 person in my opinion. Came here to see what all the hype was about. The line was fairly long and the people waiting to get their food was even longer! I am not holding that against them! As a new restaurant comes to town I'm glad to see the community out to show its support! My wife got the no spice and I got the medium spice. Both my wife and I thought our food was a bit bland. I took the kids because they were excited to try out the infamous Dave's Hot Chicken. Here's the good, the girl at the counter taking the orders was super sweet. I'm honestly blown away at how pricey chicken tenders are. It's not a cheap meal and there's no kids options so you have to order accordingly. The food was amazing! The service was even better, Every couple minutes you would see the same boy comming bye and cleaning tables and picking trash off the floor. I can't seem to remember his name but it was a young hispanic man and he would checkup on multiple people while also keeping the place neat and clean. He even brought us some napkins and a to go box.
