Got take out from here and loved the food! First time eating from a Dave's and was impressed. We got a variety of food including box of sliders, fries, mac and cheese, boneless wings with a variety of sauces. The sliders were great, you can choose the heat level and they come with a pickle and cole slaw. Loved the seasoning on the fries and they were especially good dipped in the Dave's sauce! We got a large order to go. It included the Dave's mini sliders, assorted wings, fries, and mac & cheese. The mini sliders were especially good: very unique and a nice, small bite. The mac and cheese had a nice kick to it and was quite flavorful. The wings were good, not necessarily better than other wing places, but still enjoyable. I also tried some of the Dave's Sauce, which is a nice specialty sauce. Overall, a great spread!

I've driven past this establishment several times located across from the Oakland University campus on the west side of Squirrel rd. I finally found the time to stop in and sample a couple of items in their menu. I ordered their 1 slider with 1 chicken tender meal with a side of Mac and cheese. I love Dave's Hot Chicken! I'm so glad they opened a location close to me, since the one I was going to was off Big Beaver. What's even funnier is there's also a new chick Fil A in the same parking lot. The benefit of Dave's Hot Chicken? They're open on Sunday! The locations set up like all the others, so you order at the counter and then they call your number out when the orders ready. I really like the food here because it's actually good. I walked in after placing a mobile order and the guy at the front was very helpful. First time trying and the service Iw as given was definitely above and beyond what I would've expected. We had a small chat and he gave recommendations for what to try if I ordered there again. The place was very open, lively, and accessible. The sliders I ordered were great. The sauce is very good and must have especially with the fries!
