We travel to Chambersburg for doctor appointments and like to stop to have lunch after we do so. We decided to try Dave's hot chicken and really enjoyed our meals. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly, especially the young lady behind the counter that took our order. We were greeted with a smile and she was so very nice. I had a doctors appointment over in Chambersburg and when we left, we wanted to find somewhere to eat that was different and we found Dave's Hot Chicken Since this was our first time eating at this establishment, we were unsure what to order so we both decided to order the number one which is two chicken tenders and fries and you have the option of selecting what type of spice level you want and we both elected to get them mild. I only have Nashville hot chicken to compare this against (which is quite a high bar), and this was excellent! I cannot recommend the tenders enough! The staff were super friendly and helped us navigate the menu very well.

This tasted like real chicken! Not dry like McDonalds. Was delicious! Fries were unique and savory. Very clean and brightly decorated and staff was really nice and helpful. The other bad review doesn't know what it's talking about.

I had high hopes for this establishment. I decided to visit with my girlfriend and my three year-old child when the food was set in front of me I looked down to see a dried piece of cardboard chicken on subpar buns. My child looked at her food and said yuck And my girlfriend ate the french fries and we joked for 20 minutes about how bad the food was. Reasons not to eat here 1. more over price than five guys. 2.
