I came for an event at Dave's Hot Chicken off Barnes Road in Colorado Springs! The entire event was super smooth and well organized from beginning to end. I had been wanting to try Dave's Hot Chicken for the longest time but just never got around to stopping in; I can definitely say I'll be coming back! The food was excellent, and the portions were HUGE! The meal came with a sandwich loaded with a massive piece of chicken, another large chicken tender served with a slice of bread, and a generous portion of fries. The fries ... read more

I ordered the number 3 medium heat and it was SO much food! Well worth the cost. The flavors were exactly what I was hoping they'd be. The chicken was juicy and the breading wasn't overwhelming thick which I really appreciated. The overall vibe is fun and something I'd definitely come back for. Oh! The staff was friendly and super helpful. 10/10 experience.

I have not been to Dave's in a while but stoped by tonight and was great to see new items on the menu. It is quite a few new things and sauces to choose from, but the young girl Mahala explained it well. Great to see some young people actually care and try! Well done and keep it up Dave's!

Let's begin with the fact that they have a vegetarian slider. Whaaaat?!?!?!? Such a pleasant surprise that they consider vegetarian people. Second when they say Hot, it is hot ( not the usual white b!+(# hot ). The place is easy to find, has ample parking, ample sitting, and great service. Rainier took care of me and he was very helpful and very nice. So, I obviously got the cauliflower slider with fries. It had such a wonderful profile of flavors, and the heat was spot on. The cauliflower was very tender as well. The ... read more

Dave's Hot Chicken absolutely delivered. The chicken was exactly what you want--juicy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside. The flavor is on point, especially if you like heat. I personally enjoy spicy food, and their spice levels actually bring both heat and flavor, not just burn. What really stood out was how accommodating they were. My wife can't handle much spice at all, and they made sure her order stayed at a mild level. They listened, got it right, and she ended up really enjoying her meal--which says a... read more

Literally had to install Yelp to review how good this place was. Extremely friendly staff, a really cool vibe, and the food was amazing! Went here to try meat for the first time in a while, came out a changed person.

Love it. Simple menu is where it's at. Didn't dare to try the hottest but keep getting the extra hot and hot. Stoked by the amount of pickles, they don't mess around. Owner probably loves pickles like me unless that's standard.. Anyway, 4 dollars a pound.
