We stopped here for a bite on a road trip. We were going to go to Chick-fil-a, but decided to try out Dave’s. And man, it was the best fast food experience of my life! Don’t sleep on Dave’s Hot Chicken you guys! They finally opened a brand-new location in Bloomington, Illinois, and let me tell you—this is some of the freshest hot chicken I’ve ever had. This was only my second time trying Dave’s (the first was in Springfield), and once again, it absolutely caught me off guard in the best way. These light mild chicken bites are my new safe food. I can’t handle spice, but want to. This flavor is just right for me. The boneless bites are always juicy and fresh when eating in. The outside is always a very thin coating of bread which is just top tier. The customer service is 10/5, they’re always super nice to us. Atmosphere, it can get very crowded and busy. Holy hell friendly! When you’re greeted before you even enter the building, at the counter and a friendly goodbye when leaving. They were super busy being the grand opening, but they are handling the flow very nicely. The fries are crispy and well seasoned. The chicken sandwich is crunchy with enough spice to make your nose water (I ordered mild) The Dave’s sauce is a perfect addition to the fries and chicken! I will definitely be back.. I hope the quality stays

Good first experience at Dave's. Employees were nice, friendly, and well trained. It was really crowded inside and drive thru was busy as well and they still got my order out in about 15 minutes which was impressive. Food tasted great while hot, but leftovers didn't reheat well in the oven later at night. The hot and extra hot heat levels were just perfect for me, but most won't be able to handle extra hot! 🔥😁 Their mac and cheese was good as well. Prices seemed okay relative to portion size.
