Dave's has moved to my #1 chicken place. Behind Popeyes, KFC and the pits of despair Chic. Holy chicken does this place have some lip smacking food!! I was keeping an eye on this place as it was being built. Then today my wife and I decided to try it. We couldn't be more happy with it. Not a overly complicated menu. This place was incredible came in at about 5 so dinner time roughly it was busy but the staff handled it extremely well. I got the #3 which was a sandwich and a tender with fries for $15 cannot complain as that's the price for most fast foot places for a standard size meal. My girlfriend got the #4 was just a sandwich and fries the wait was no longer than 10 mins and the food was spectacular. it was busy so we took it to go however it was still extremely fresh by the time we got home. Dave's Hot Chicken, Hamburg, NY: The portions are way bigger than anticipated. When they say slider, they mean a full-on sandwich, not a tiny bite. This is not a “sample.” This is a commitment. Even the two-piece tenders are much more than you’d expect. The chicken seasoning is exactly how hot chicken should taste, and the Dave’s sauce is absolutely to die for. Why do they ask for a tip at checkout? They aren’t delivering food to the table. They aren’t even cheerful. Shouldn’t be an option to Tip. Tips aside when I asked for reaper I was told to sign and date what I thought was the receipt but was actually a waiver for how hot it is. If you know how hot the Blazin sauce is at BWW, the reaper here is 3 times hotter. Its not just a sauce. They dust the chicken in chili powder. Sandwich or as they call it “slider” was amazing. Delicious. Good portion sizes. Macaroni and cheese and milkshakes are very good. Hot Chicken - And if you're looking for food that's *actually* very spicy this is the place to go! I have a stupid high spice tolerance (For reference, I add Tabasco to my hot wings and still think they are too mild), so it's hard to find food that I actually consider nice and hot spicy.
