Dave's has moved to my #1 chicken place. Behind Popeyes, KFC and the pits of despair Chic. Holy chicken does this place have some lip smacking food!! I was keeping an eye on this place as it was being built. Then today my wife and I decided to try it. We couldn't be more happy with it. Not a overly complicated menu. The food was OK. Dave's sauce was really good. Fries were kinda soggy. I'm not a fan of the dry rub on the chicken, but that's not the issue here. The dining room was DISGUSTING. Every table and chair was dirty. The floor was extremely dirty. The floor mats were filled with old food that was stepped on throughout the day. The windows and doors had finger prints all over them. The bathrooms were super dirty. All this while the employees were just chilling behind the counter.
This place was incredible came in at about 5 so dinner time roughly it was busy but the staff handled it extremely well. I got the #3 which was a sandwich and a tender with fries for $15 cannot complain as that's the price for most fast foot places for a standard size meal. My girlfriend got the #4 was just a sandwich and fries the wait was no longer than 10 mins and the food was spectacular. it was busy so we took it to go however it was still extremely fresh by the time we got home. Took my beautiful woman out on a date here for both of our first times and we both were extremely impressed. Such a great environment with beautiful artwork all over. Everyone was super friendly and supportive. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was top notch. 10/10 recommend. Love places like this one
All my co-workers have raved about this place so I went today. I walked into the Hamburg (McKinley Pkwy) location for the first time and 3 workers were standing by the counter talking, Not even 1 worker acknowledged my existence as I walked in. Not knowing anything about the place or how to order I stood there for about 5 minutes. I turned my head and seen 2 kiosks so I started to order food.
