So I really just wanted to see what all the hype was about including was there truly a reason to stand it a line for over an hour for it to open or was it very popular elsewhere and nm was just excited to see a new restaurant? There was no line so I seized the opportunity. The restaurant was full, no empty seats inside and plenty outside. The staff was very efficient and welcoming. I ordered a slider, it was the size of a normal sandwich with kale slaw, pickles and crinkle fries. Don't really care for crinkle fries but ... read more
We came on a weekday evening hoping the line wouldn't be too long. The line still went out the door and it was still about a 45 minute wait to get our food. On the upside about waiting in line is that you have time to think about what you want to order. There were no seats available inside and they also had some outdoor seating but we decided to take our food home. It stayed warm for the drive back which was nice to know our food wouldn't get soggy during the ride. I decided to get the Dave's #1 which is two chicken tenders... read more
This is my first time here. I'm so glad we visited when it was not busy. Because I've been eyeing this place for a while, since they opened. And all the days I've passed by, the line is literally out the door, to the street. I've also heard stories of long wait times for food. Today was definitely not the case. Parking is abundant, it just depends on where you want to park. Because if you want to get up close to the restaurant, it's hit or miss. There was a small line when we got there. We decided we'd give it a try. Again,... read more
We visited here because my husband has a desire to eat the stupidly hot chicken. My son and him had watched videos on how hot it was. The line is still really long so be prepared to wait. We ordered two number 1s and the nuggets plain. I got me out, he got the reaper. It was definitely spicy but he said it wasn't as hot as the pepper X sauce he'd ordered before. The flavor of the chicken was great, big tenders, and juicy. Hopefully when it does down we'll be back.
I went to Dave's hot chicken because I saw the line for the past couple of weeks and was curious. I got the number one extra hot. It was good- not sure about line were they? That's a little over the top. I think it's cause it's new but I liked it. The chicken was properly cooked and I like the sauce that they have with it. I was worried that the extra hot would be too hot, but not at all.
We made a pickup order but when we went to pick it up it seemed not be there like we never ordered even after we paid but the guy who was handing out orders, I wish I remembered his name he was blonde he was really helpful and really nice. He gave us free drinks for the inconvenience. I hope they see that's he's a good worker
Excellent spice levels with sauce and honey to dip your chicken strips. Better than Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. Fries are seasoned well. Strips are well sized. Tried the Reaper! You are forwarned! Just because we are New Mexican with our Hatch stuff means nothing. The Reaper is for real. Brought tears to my son's eyes. Good stuff!
Good food, big portions. Worth the wait. Reaper left me with the ring of fire. You've been warned.
amazing place the fries were perfection, it was perfect and when i put it in my mouth all my problems melted away fr. i heard thru the grapevine the fruity pebbles shake is also good....
